Whether you’re in your brand new home, your dream home or the home that marks a step in your journey; you can ALWAYS entertain!

We want to help you take your summertime get-togethers to the next level! Make your house a home this summer by putting together these simple things that will have you and your guests wanting MORE!

The recipe to a perfect get-together is food, a comfy place to sit and some light music to enjoy. So, let’s get to it!

    1. Charcuterie Board: this one may make some of you laugh, just because these have boosted exponentially in popularity over the past year or so, but they really do WORK. Create a spread of all your favorite cheeses, meats, crackers, fruits, jellies, cream cheeses, kinds of butter and all the works. Make sure to mark where the gluten-free crackers and vegan cheeses are in case you have any guests with allergies! This may seem like such a generic thing, but everyone swarms around a good charcuterie board. It’s like the adult version of a Lunchable!
    2. Homemade Lemonade: Whether you have a lemon tree, or you just stop by the nearest market, homemade lemonade does no wrong. You can even pair it with sweet tea for that perfect Arnold Palmer. Nothing says summer like an Arnold Palmer! Get the biggest bag of lemons you can find, juice them ALL and add half parts water to the mix. Heat up half a cup of water and add as much sugar as you’d like, whisk it and pour it in! Add more sugar, water or lemon depending on how you like it and then you’ve got yourself the perfect summer sip!
    3. Fluff your Couch: This may seem like such a mundane task… but it does make your seating area look, feel and seem more comforting. Whenever people come over, they all end up wanting to sit at some point. So, even adding a folding chair or two around the house can give everyone a chance to rest! Fluff those pillows, karate chop em’ in the middle and give your couch that “magazine look”.
    4. Music!: This can be tricky, depending on the vibe you’re going for, but some light music never hurts. Whether you’re into country, alternative, pop or jazz, make the volume just loud enough to hear, but not so loud that conversation can’t happen!
