Picking a home is about more than just finding the right four walls. Building your life around the perfect community can often be far more rewarding than finding the perfect home!
The North Houston area is known for its incredible amenities and neighborhoods. Our residents live under beautiful tall pines and have access to some of the best shopping and dining experiences in the state of Texas. But there are so so many things to consider when choosing a neighborhood. Here are a few of our favorite examples from the area.
Cochran’s Crossing
Cochran’s crossing is one of our favorite options for those in need of a beautiful single family home. It features nearly 5,000 homes all built between the years 1983 to 2001. Children who live in Cochran’s Crossing are zoned to seven of the Woodlands’ top schools, including Galatas Elementary, Powell Elementary, David Elementary, Mitchell Intermediate, Collins Intermediate, McCullough Junior High, and Woodlands High School.
Residents have access to some of the area’s best amenities, namely the Bear Branch Park & Recreation center. This extensive park features over 9 tennis courts, a skate park, a community pool, basketball courts, jungle gyms, multi-purpose rinks, a dog park and miles of walking trails.
Alden Bridge
Located in the heart of The Woodlands, this is one of the largest local neighborhoods featuring over 7,000 homes. This neighborhood is zoned to five of the top schools in the area, including Buckalew Elementary, David Elementary, Mitchell Intermediate, Collins Intermediate, and The Woodlands Highschool.
This neighborhood is just minutes away from many of the Woodlands’ best shopping centers and restaurants, in the Alden Bridge Village Center and Windvale Village Center. Living in Alden Bridge puts you close to nearly twenty parks, some of the largest being Lakeside Park, Alden Bridge Park, and Windvale Park.
Creekside Park
Established in 2007, this is one of the newest residential areas in Woodlands township. Additionally, this is the only Woodlands village zoned to Harris County and the Tomball school district.
This new development is still growing, and plans to reach 7,100 homes once completed. Creekside Park is home to one of the newest local shopping centers, Creekside Park Village Creek. It features a brand new HEB grocery store, as well as a number of other locally-owned coffee shops, restaurants, and businesses.
The neighborhood is close to over twenty parks, including the George Mitchell Nature Preserve and the largest community pool in the woods, the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center. It features a lazy river, slides, an interactive aquatic structure, and a three-lane lap pool!
